CFT construction = “not your typical surfboard”
Not all surfboards are built the same.
Fresh Batch of custom Stretch boards available in New York!
Stretch Boards is proud to have Long Beach Surf Shop as a new home for custom built performance boards catering to nearly every wave type NY has to offer.
Custom Stretch Super Buzz Surfboard
The Super Buzz model evolved from the Buzz line, and is a fun all around board.
The Super Buzz features the same deep single to double concaves as Mr. Buzz yet in a much more user-friendly rocker and outline.
Super Buzz utilizes bottom contours and curves that allow it to be extremely hydrodynamically efficient. It can be ridden at or near the same volume as your normal daily driver shortboard.
This custom SuperBuzz was a special order with all sorts of add ons.
The dimensions on this Super Buzz are: 5’4″ x 20.5″ x 2.25″
It has a concave skate deck, Powerlinez Parabolic Stringer, vector net carbon fiber top and bottom, carbon fiber rail wrap, carbon fiber tail strips, five fin FCS2 boxes, EPS Tech, channel rails, diamond tail, and a custom resin tint. If you’re looking to fully customize your next order here’s an example of going all out.
Stretch Balsa Tow-In Board
All the surfboards that come out of the Stretch factory are made with premium materials and are built to last. At the top of the pryamid of premium boards is the hand shaped Balsa Tow-In. This board is designed, shaped, and built for a select group of surfers who tow into the biggest waves on the planet. Shown in the photos here is a hand shaped Balsa Tow-In that we currently have available for those willing and daring to take it where few have the ability to go.
Stretch Buzz Template Fins
Stretch Hand Foiled Buzz Template Fins
a.k.a.- “Buzz Template”, “#3”, “stretch controllers”, “the big one”
Stretch Buzz Template fins are available in 2 different sizes: 4.875” and 5.125” with the same rear quad pair available for each.
The fins are individually custom made and hand foiled by fins unlimited in san diego.

Stretch’s Buzz template fins work on any of the Buzz models shaped for small to everyday wave conditions in boards that have relatively wide tail templates (15.25”+ tail width and 8” +/- tail block), deep concaves and for those who like to power heavily off their rear foot on higher aspect ratio boards. Will work in a variety of conditions with sizing available in either 4.875” or 5.125” for surfers 150lbs. to 240lbs.
We sell them on our webstore in fiberglass quad sets only in your choice of either future or FCS base.
You choose size and color.
Scientific origin and theoretical ramblings of technical information:
Originally developed to harness the unparalleled super dynamic efficiency of the hydrodynamic variables utilized in the Mr. Buzz model developed by Nathan Fletcher, the Buzz template has found it’s place in the enormous surge of board models consisting of fuller/wider tails, increased surface area, deep concaves and ample rocker.
Concaves and more efficient planning area in the tails of surfboards can add substantial lift and at higher speeds it must still be controllable. Don’t be afraid of the large appearance of the fin itself. The swept back rake combined with the full base and stretch’s custom cambered foil will allow you to retain lateral stability at speed and generate drive and grip without feeling tracky. A predictable response and surprisingly quick feeling not often found in a larger fin set only add to the benefit of having the Buzz fins in your Mr. Buzz, Super Buzz or Buzzsaw.
Can be combined with stretch quad rears at 4.0” or 4.125” and even larger 4.25” to 4.375” symmetrically foiled rears depending on wave conditions, rider style and preference.
Front fin (standard):
Base: 4.875”, depth: 4.437”
Front fin (large):
Base: 5.125”, depth: 4.625”
Rear fin (standard and large sets):
Base: 3.875”, depth: 4.375”
